Jing Therapist

Fascia and Trigger Point Specialist supporting those with chronic pain

The Jing method of massage and bodywork is a form of advanced clinical massage and is a blend of eastern and western techniques including fascia release, trigger points, acupressure, stretching and self-care.

What is the Jing Method?

It’s a whole body approach, because pain are messages from the body waiting to be understood. It gets to the root cause of pain, not just the symptoms you are dealing with right now.

The method is based on a reduction of pain in 6 weeks or less by working in partnership with you, to increase mobility, agility and joint range of motion, whilst decreasing daily levels of chronic pain and anxiety connected to it.

What my clients say…

  • "Jing massage is amazing

Rachel works in partnership with you so you can regain balance in your life, so if you’re looking to reduce your daily pain, look no further. Jing massage is amazing and I give Rachel a 10 out of 10.”

  • "After 6 sessions my pain greatly reduced

Before seeing Rachel I had significant pain in my feet and lower legs which was reducing my walks with my dog and I no longer felt comfortable going downstairs on alternate legs. However, after working with her for the six sessions, the pain is greatly reduced so I can now walk on uneven ground with my dog.”

  • "I am now able to do so much more

I have had severe kyphosis for the best part of my life and have never been able to play tennis, swim or join in with normal activities. I came to Rachel desperate to get some form of movement. After the first session, I felt so much freer in my shoulders however by session 3, I was suddenly able to raise my arms above my head.

Rachel has given me simple exercises to do that fit in with my busy days and combined with my weekly sessions I am able to do so much more.”

  • "Totally bespoke to your needs

As an ex physio I had never heard of trigger points, let alone Jing. This work isn’t massage as such, it’s more of a therapy involving a combination of techniques to reduce pain, increase mobility and range of movement. Each session is planned with what you are dealing with now, so is totally bespoke to your needs.”

Meet your Jing therapist - Rachel

Two years ago, a serious wrist injury stopped my life in its tracks. I went from being active and capable to struggling with pain, mobility and the emotional weight that comes with it. Healing forced me to slow down, adapt, and truly understand what my body was trying to tell me, not just where it hurt, but why.

That experience changed the way I work. I return to treatments with a renewed purpose and a physiology-first, whole-body approach. Instead of only treating pain where it shows up, I look at the entire system, the fascia, the nervous system, and the patterns that drive your symptoms. A whole body approach allows us to look at other factors outside of your pain that are driving the way you feel and how your body reacts.

Because I’ve lived through both acute and chronic pain myself, I understand how exhausting, frustrating and isolating it can be. My treatments combine skilled fascial and trigger-point work with practical tools you can use at home, helping you not only feel relief but understand your body in a new way.

If you’re navigating chronic pain or feeling disconnected from your body, I’m here to support you with compassion, curiosity and evidence-based care. Together, we can work toward restoring comfort, mobility, and confidence in your body again.
